I grew up in Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin and have been fishing since before I can remember. Growing up, we regularly cat-fished the Rock River. As a kid and young adult, I fished for Pike and bass and wouldn't have been able to tell you what a Musky was! Someone told me Musky are super hard to catch--Challenge accepted! I am a big bow hunter and know the challenges of hunting of elusive game, so hunting musky just fits. Skateboarding was also a big part of my life, which led me to crafting and building skateboard ramps. That passion guided me towards my path of being a carpenter. When I'm not at my day job, I build custom wood working projects. Fishing and wood working are two of my greatest passions so I decided to combine the two and Big Guy Baits was born. I have been married since 2006 and have 2 kids that love to fish and build minnow baits with me. Thanks for supporting a small business and musky shops!
